For over 40 summers, the Frisco Snowcone Lady, also known as Mary Mathis Sanchez, has been a cherished part of the Frisco community. Her snowcone stand on Elm Street isn’t just a place to cool off; it’s a place where generations have grown up enjoying her sweet treats and even sweeter spirit.
On August 23rd, Mary suffered a series of four strokes and has been hospitalized ever since. She is currently unable to move her right leg and has right arm weakness. She will answer questions and will light up when family comes to see her. When asked what people call her, she responds with, "The Snowcone Lady."
She loves the cards and drawings her customers have dropped off at the stand.
We’re raising funds to help with mounting medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and any additional support she may need during this difficult time. If you are unable to give, please share this campaign and say some prayers for her.
Thank you all for your well wishes and support.
