Help the Friendly Filipino Fisherman get to the Nationals.

My name is Gilbert Tabon, but everybody knows I'm known as "Uncle Gil" ! And as everyone will tell you, I am the friendliest fisherman you are ever going to meet.

I have an opportunity to represent Hawaii in the national finals in Pompano Beach Florida. This is a chance for our local fisherman to get more national attention on our talented Anglers here in Hawaii. A perfect platform to bring saltwater kayak fishing to the Olympics. That is our goal!

The costs are a little bit more than I can afford with my upcoming expenses. But I am hoping for any help or sponsorships that you are willing to give that will help a local fisherman get to the Nationals. I will be traveling with other members from Hawaii to this event with hopes of making the top 6 and competing against 70 other professional Anglers from across the nation. I do kindly as that you find it in your heart to help a local boy that has a passion for the ocean and has a goal set in his mind not only to represent Hawaii but to help and inspire up and coming young anglers and show that you can enjoy your passion while doing it professionally. This is the goal of mine here on Maui. Sharing my passion with everyone who's willing to learn.
