On March 21, 2026, our family lost William “Bill” Fretenborough in a house fire at his home in Kimball, Michigan.
This was sudden and unexpected, and we are now navigating everything that comes with that kind of loss.
Bill did not have homeowners insurance or life insurance, which means there are no financial resources to cover funeral expenses or the loss of his home. Our family is taking on these costs directly while trying to cope with the unexpected and devastating loss of a loved one.
We are not typically the type of people who like to ask for help. However, since the beginning of this year, our family has had several life altering experiences. In January, we had the unexpected loss of my (Gabrielle's) Grandmother, and then the following month in February we had complications with the birth of our daughter who spent 3 days in the NICU, and now this month we are experiencing this. We are creating this fundraiser for anyone who would like to contribute and help offset those expenses. All donations will go toward funeral and related costs as we handle everything in the aftermath of this tragedy.
Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing, is appreciated.
Thank you,
