Hello, we are the Franklin High School “Star of the West” Marching Band Tuba/Sousaphone Section from El Paso, Texas.

This year, our band has been given an incredible opportunity — we’ve been given the chance to perform in a professional soundtrack session at Disneyland’s Imagination Campus! This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for us to experience what it’s like to record music the same way professionals do, surrounded by the magic of Disney.

Each member’s cost for the trip is $1000, which covers travel, lodging, and all expenses. As students, that’s a big amount to raise on our own, and we’re hoping to receive some help to make this dream possible.

Our tuba section has seven members, and we’ve worked hard all year to represent Franklin with pride. Recently, our band became the only school in our district to advance to Area Finals — something we’re extremely proud of.

For many of us, especially our seniors, this trip would be a way to celebrate years of dedication, early mornings, and long rehearsals. Band has given us some of our best memories and closest friendships. Band is so much more than just music; it’s a family.

We would be so grateful for any donation, big or small, to help us reach our goal by the end of January. Every dollar brings us one step closer to performing at Disneyland and representing Franklin High School on a national stage.

Thank you for supporting the Franklin “Star of the West” Tuba/Sousaphone Section — and helping us make this unforgettable experience a reality!
