My name is Nicola Foutch, and a year and a half ago, I was hit by a drunk driver. Since then, my sons, Jesse and Thomas, and I have faced many battles on the road to recovery. Despite our strength and resilience, we still have more challenges ahead. It’s been four years since we’ve seen our family in Oklahoma—since right before my sons lost their father to suicide. These past years have tested us in so many ways, but we continue to move forward together.
Recently, Thomas shared how much it would mean to him to travel to Oklahoma for Spring Break. He wants to take me back to where I grew up, so we can reconnect with friends and family we haven’t seen in so long. This trip would be a chance for us to experience love, laughter, and a much-needed break to recharge our spirits. On top of that, my father has offered us two electric scooters if we can find a way to bring them back to Tennessee—equipment that would make a real difference in my recovery and daily life.
If you could find it in your hearts to help us take this trip, it would mean the world to our family. We have been blessed by so many wonderful people throughout our journey, and we are deeply grateful for every bit of support. Thank you so much for considering helping us reconnect, heal, and move forward.
