Help the Ford-O’Connells Recover From the Eaton Fire

Dear Friends, Family, and Loving Community Built Around This Incredible Family,
I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of a family who would never ask for help, but who needs it now more than ever. My dear friend, Geada Ford, her husband, Bryan O’Connell, and their beautiful one-year-old daughter have always been the first to give—whether it’s opening their home to friends in need, volunteering in their community, or simply by being the kind of people who make the world a little brighter.
But today, they find themselves in a situation they never imagined.
They lived in Pasadena, California, where the recent wildfires raged dangerously close—just blocks away from their home. While their house still stands, it may as well have been lost. Toxic ash and thick smoke have destroyed nearly everything inside. Their clothes, their furniture, their baby's crib, and, most heartbreakingly, the irreplaceable memories of their daughter's first year—her tiny keepsakes, her first outfits, her favorite stuffed animals—all ruined by the damage left behind.
They have to start over.
They’re the kind of people who never hesitate to help others. But right now, they’re the ones that need support to replace the essentials—to rebuild their home elsewhere, replace their belongings, and give their daughter the safe space she deserves to thrive.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. Whether it's helping to replace baby clothes, furniture, or simply giving them the breathing room to recover from this unimaginable loss, your kindness will mean the world.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing their story. Spreading the word helps more than you know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, for caring, and for helping this incredible family get back on their feet.
