Help The Flowers Rebuild After Flood
Donation protected

My name is Josephine Szworc-De Angelis and I started this fundraiser our friends the Flowers. In the summer of 2024, they proudly bought their very first home as a family of four. Sadly, on April 26th, 2025, their house flooded up to 3 inches inside their home in Lawton, Oklahoma. During this time, the state declared a state of emergency because of the flooding in Lawton from heavy rainfall. The Flowers' family sadly do not have flood insurance to cover the damages and are a single income family! The damages include swelling baseboards, walls, and doors. Some studs are rotted/molded, which includes king studs. The garage is now having electrical issues, which includes non-functioning and popping sockets. Lastly, mold growth is present in all but one room of the house. In all, the damages cover the living room, three bedrooms, hallway, half the kitchen, and half of the garage. A contractor the Flowers called suggested it would cost around $30,000 to $40,000 for all of the repairs.
The Flowers family would be grateful for any donations and prayers
