Help the Flores Family After House Fire

Hello, my name is Andrea Flores and I am a resident of Howell, New Jersey and I am currently a student at Brookdale Community College.

Last night, on January 21st, around 6:20pm, our family home experienced a house fire caused by a dryer. Our kitchen is completely gone and so is our dining area and part of our living room. Fortunately it was only these parts that were burnt but everything else is affected by smoke damage. Our clothes are unwearable and all of our belongings are of no use.

Our household includes my parents; my dad works at Puglisi Egg Farms and my mom is stay at home currently. I have two siblings, my brother and sister, 13 & 12, who both are students at Howell Middle School South; most of their clothes were burnt as it was their clothes in the dryer. We also have two dogs, Muñeca and Toby, who are without food, toys and beds.

As of now, we are currently displaced, staying with family in the meantime as we find a new home.

We’ve lived in this house for about 7 years and it was an absolutely devastating sight to see as a place filled with so much memories can suddenly be gone in one night.

Any donations that are made will go towards food, new appliances, rent for a new home, clothes for our family, and necessities for our pets. We are so grateful that we are all safe and for the help any one is willing to give us. Thank you.
