Our family has experienced an unimaginable tragedy. On June 9, 2026, my mother Nancy Fite lost her life in a devastating house fire alongside their beloved pets, Rosie and Bulldozer. My father Richard Fite survived the initial fire but suffered catastrophic burns and fought for his life for 24 hours before ultimately passing away. In the span of a single day, we lost both of our beloved parents and their pets.

Beyond the overwhelming grief of losing them, our family is now facing funeral expenses, hospital bills, estate costs, and the complete loss of their home and belongings. My parents did not have homeowners insurance, and my father did not have life insurance. Anyone who knew my parents knew they were humble, loving people who would give the shirt off their backs to help someone in need. They spent their lives caring for others, volunteering, and being involved in the church. Their greatest accomplishment was caring for us, their children and grandchildren.

We are asking for help to ease the financial burden left in the wake of this tragedy. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help our family cover funeral expenses, hospital bills, and the many unexpected costs that accompany such a devastating loss.
