Hi, we are the Fisher McIntosh family: myself, my partner Hunter, our 4-year-old Luna, and 3-month-old baby Wolf.

We live in Canton, NC, just outside of Asheville. Our lives have been completely altered by Hurricane Helene. Our communities were devastated and will take time to rebuild.

The timeline for a new normal is unknown. With both of us working in the service industry, we are unsure when we will be able to go back to work.

I just had a baby in July and was supposed to go back to work the first week of October. Our funds are now starting to get low.

$5000 would be enough to cover our rent to at least January, groceries, gas, formula, and diapers.

We hope people would be able to lend us a hand so we could figure out how to navigate this situation.
