Community Heroes Need Our Help

On November 6, 2024, our dear friends and community members, the Fisher family—Courtney, Jeremy, and their children, Niki, Tyler, and Thor—lost part of their beloved home in Somis, CA, to the devastating Mountain Fire. Known for their generosity and community spirit, the Fishers have always been quick to lend a hand to those in need, and now it’s our turn to rally around them in their time of hardship.

Who They Are

Courtney is the heart and energy behind Fit N Fine Fitness, an all-women's gym where she dedicates herself to empowering and uplifting women in the community. Her positivity and passion for fitness and health have inspired so many. Jeremy is a firefighter who’s courageously worked to protect others, including during the recent Mountain Fire that took part of their own home. Jeremy was dispatched to his neighborhood and able to save part of their home from a complete loss. While Courtney and Jeremy have only been part of our community for a few years, their warmth, kindness, and commitment have made a lasting impact.

The Fishers’ children—Niki, Tyler, and Thor—along with their beloved animals, have had to relocate and are now adjusting to this sudden change, trying to find a sense of stability. Their home was more than just a structure; it was a place of family love, laughter, and cherished memories, all of which were lost in the fire.

Why They Need Our Support

The Fishers are now faced with the challenge of starting over, with so much to rebuild not just for themselves, but for their children and animals as well. Our goal is to help them cover costs for temporary housing, replace essential belongings, and begin the journey of creating a new home for their family.
