Hello, my name is Dana. I am a close family friend of Leanna and Chris Fischetti. As all young families start out, their worlds are full of endless possibilities for their babies, but when illness happens, things in life start to change very quickly. Leanna and Chris have 2 beautiful children, Cece, 4 years old, and CJ, 1 year old. Cece was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease at 1 year old. This kind of strain is hard enough on a young family. Today, Cece’s conditions are well managed, and she is living her best 4-year-old life.

Soon came along this handsome, smiley boy, CJ, who was born with a very rare genetic condition called Alagille syndrome. This means he doesn't have enough bile ducts to keep his bile flowing freely through the liver. He is currently active on the liver transplant list, awaiting a live donor match.

Both Leanna and Chris work; Leanna is a nurse at Community Hospital, and Chris works for Ocean County. For two people who give their all to the community around them, I am asking you to find it in your heart to give a little back to this young family to help offset the tremendous medical bills and added costs that come along with transplant surgery.

Not only will medical bills add up quickly, but they will also require a lot of time off from work when CJ finally gets the liver he needs.
