Help the Finch family rebuild after Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
My mother and I have lived in New Port Richey for over 26 years. Our home, like many others, was tragically lost due to Hurricane Helene. In a short span of 4 hours, we lost our only place we called home, most of our appliances, and most of our belongings. We are awaiting help from FEMA, but with the incoming hurricane as well as the numerous other families that need help, we're unsure when that will be or if it will even cover all of our losses. My mom is currently disabled as well due to her ongoing battle with Multiple Sclerosis and is on a limited income without the ability to work. My father suffered a stroke last September, so I have been a full time caregiver for both of them and therefore my income as well is limited. We are struggling financially, and unable to repair our home on our incomes alone.
I know this is a hard time for everyone right now, and many people lost stuff during this natural disaster, but any help in helping us rebuild our home would be greatly appreciated. Even if all you can do is share this post, it would be a lifesaver. Luckily, everything can be replaced or rebuilt, and my mom, dad, myself, and my three fur babies escaped with our lives, but we are currently out of a house until we get some help.
I pray that this incoming hurricane doesn’t completely destroy any more lives, or what’s left of my home and hometown. Please be safe, please look out for your community and your neighbors. We are all hurting badly right now, and some of us only have each other. God bless and thank you for all the support right now!
