Fernando Fernandez is facing the fight of his life. After multiple hospitalizations this year, he has received a devastating diagnosis: end-stage heart failure. He is now dependent on continuous IV medication to support his heart function, and must approach each day with extreme care to avoid further complications. The next critical step in his journey is being placed on the heart transplant list.

This life-changing diagnosis has turned everything upside down for Fernando, his wife Leslie, and their daughter, Sammy. He hasn’t been able to return to work and start the school year as planned, and the financial strain is growing.
