My name is Jessica Reedy, I live in Maui, HI. I am launching this fundraiser on behalf of Sabrina & Andre Fehlmann, close friends and classmates to my children.
Join me in supporting the Fehlmann Ohana as they recover from the devastating Maui wildfires. Sabrina, Andre, Elina, and Misha have tragically lost everything in the recent Kula fire. Their home, all their belongings, and even one of their cars have been reduced to ashes. They've emerged from this ordeal with just the bare essentials, and now face the arduous task of rebuilding their lives. Amidst the ruins, Andre miraculously found Sabrina's wedding ring, a poignant reminder of what they've lost.
Long-term housing was already a challenge on the island, and the fire has exacerbated the situation. Your contribution will play a vital role in helping them secure a new truck, clothing, temporary lodging, and other essential expenses during the year-long process of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
Sabrina and Andre are cherished members of the community, making significant contributions at Maui High School and Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope. Beyond their professional roles, they are outstanding parents and friends, with Elina and Misha standing as remarkable children and classmates.
