Help The Fee Family Open Big Thicket BBQ.

In 2020 we sold our food trailer to begin the transition into a brick and mortar restaurant. Unfortunately this happened right at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, so we passed on our initial rental property, and were delayed for several months trying to wait it out and looking for another suitable place. After months  of prayer and saving we found a place in DeRidder, LA that we thought would be a perfect fit for our old school, counter service BBQ joint. So we dove in! We’ve spent the past several months working on the property, equipping the kitchen, and doing most of the labor ourselves. So much of this time was spent pouring our money and hearts into this dream! The week of our State Fire Inspection we were surprised with some very costly expenses that we hadn’t anticipated.  After months of little to no income we simply can’t afford the necessary costs to get past the finish line without help. We’ve exhausted our resources.  That’s where you come in.  We realize that the last year has been incredibly rough on everyone, but we also know that we have an amazing and loyal customer base that will support us if we can just get the doors open. We just need help getting to that point. Any help would be appreciated and every dollar counts.
