Hello, 
I am helping out the Fechtmeister family, friends of ours from when we lived in Gretna.  This is a family of 7 whom has been through a lot in the past couple years, but more so recently.   They have 5 kids ranging from ages 10-21.  Arden, Trent, and Devin have helped babysit my kids.  Maren is a friend of Morgan's.  They are the most humble family and would never ask for help, but we insist on helping.   Their son, Trent, was involved in a car crash last Thursday.  He was with some friends going to grab a bite to eat before their last band concert.  They were one week away from their high school graduation.  They were T-boned as they were trying to cross the street.   Trent was in the passenger side.   Trent suffered from head/skull trauma and fractures.  Trent had damage to his left eye socket, left cheekbone, forehead, and a brain bleed.   He had to undergo a trachesotomy for the surgery today.   Surgery went well -the hematoma in his brain was removed, and they were able to put the pieces back together in his eye socket and face.  As you know, he will have a long road ahead for recovery.   Bob, father,  has been in the hospital for the last 2 weeks dealing with unrelated medical concerns so he was unable to be with Trent and his family during this time.   Bob is on the road to recovery slowly but surely.    Alicia, mom, has been slowly recovering from a broken ankle this past year and has had 3 surgeries to get this corrected.   I am sure that they have a stack of medical bills, and we would like to help put in a dent in that and just help this family get their heads above water!!!!   Prayers needed for this family.  God Bless You!!
