On Saturday, March 10, Alyssa Farinella was diagnosed with leukemia.
Alyssa is a loving wife, and mother to five children. If you know her at all, you know how much she loves her family and friends, and invests in those around her.
Pastor Matt and Alyssa have been such a a blessing to their church, family, and friends; we want to do what we can to give back to them during this trial.
While Alyssa's prognosis is good, she will have to take a daily chemo pill, likely for the rest of her life. These pills cost $13,000 per month! It does look like the Farinella's insurance will cover this cost, but there may be additional medical bills.
Our goal is set at $13,000 because that is the cost of one month of treatment; however, we really want to raise as much money as we can. Alyssa and her family need to heal emotionally as well as physically. We want the Farinellas to use this money however they see fit, whether that's medical expenses, a vacation, savings, or other needs or wants.
