Dear Family, friends and ones with a heart of gold to help us lay our beloved mother, Joan Lachkar to rest with a proper jewish burial. Our mother passed away peacefully monday morning after a difficult battle with cancer. She was 84 years young; a prima ballerina and a doctor. She was such a sweet, intelligent and beautiful women with so much charm and charisma and spunk until her very last day! In our religion, a proper burial is done without cremation and is very costly yet we need to properly honor our mother and religion and most importantly so she an lay to rest alongside her mother, father and sister.
