Hi Friends and Family! This post is kinda hard and embarrassing to make but we are in a tight spot! The Hammond Water Department shut our water off on Tuesday morning and will not turn it back on until we install a buffalo box or B-box, in the alley behind our house. Which is basically a way for them to access our water without going on our property. We pleaded with them to please turn it back on as we don't have the funds at this moment to fix this issue but they will not budge. Our bill is paid in full and we just had enough to pay the outrageous $200.00 restoration fee! After speaking with many plumbers there is an issue with where they would be able to place the new box. Our garage is in the way and we would have to dig underneath it to install the correct equipment. After receiving quotes of anywhere from $8,000.00 to $15,000.00 we finally found a company that is willing to do the work for $4,000.00. As of right now I am unemployed and Josh works as hard as he can to provide for our family and it has been tight. Please if you can donate it is very much appreciated.
