Sadly, our beloved social justice warrior Priscilla passed away on the evening of February 19 in the hospital in NYC. We are in contact with her family and continuing to raise money to help her children transition into life without their mother and to assist the family with funeral expenses.
Any amount of donation is deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for caring.

Priscilla Ortiz Guerrero has dedicated her life to helping others. As a community organizer, she has always been a fearless advocate, using her voice to protect people and work for a better world. Now, Priscilla is facing her own battle. She has cancer, and her medical team has recently told her that there are no further treatment options. With only weeks or months left, her greatest wish is to return home to Texas to be with her family for hospice care and to spend her remaining time surrounded by love.
The funds raised will help Priscilla and her two children relocate from New York to Texas, cover their living expenses for the time she has left, and pay for medical care that will maximize her comfort. Your support will also help with end-of-life and burial services, and provide her children (a 19-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter) with the resources they need to begin building a new life after her passing.
Priscilla has always been there for her community, and now she needs our help. I hope you’ll join me in offering her peace, comfort, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Priscilla and her family.
