In Loving Memory of Oscar Cindell Baez jr.
On Saturday, April 3, 2021, Oscar was driving his car back home when he had an accident on the interstate. He was taken to Sentra ER then they flew him to Norfolk General ER with life-threatening injuries and died shortly after on Sunday, April 4, 2021.
Oscar was only 19 when this accident occurred. He was the the only son to Oscar Baez and Sylvia Chaparro, a caring older brother to Shyanne, a loving younger brother to Lisha and Andrea, and a wonderful boyfriend to ZaNiyah.
An incredibly gifted and intelligent young man, he graduated high school 2020. While attending high school AP programs, he decided to do dual enrollment with Thomas Nelson. Oscar then started working for amazing jobs, and getting his first car and then his second car. Absolutely nothing could stop him from achieving the goals he set for himself and what he wanted in life.
Oscar lifted every room he walked into, he was always full of life and joy.
He had a healthy relationship with each of his family and friends. He was positive, always smiling and laughing.
He will be missed by all of us.
The funds will be for the cost of transporting his remains and helping with funeral and related expenses. This page was made by his best friend Quincy and his Family.

Words from one of many best friend, quincy:
He was a wonderful person. He had the biggest heart and would always go out of his way to make sure you're okay. He had a smile that lit up the whole room. Im creating this gofundme to make things easier for his mother, father and family during this time.___________________________
We will have a wake in Virginia and burial in New Jersey. Oscar will be buried with the rest of his family in New Jersey.
Any amount is appreciated and everything helps. He will forever be missed and loved.
Long Live Oscar.
