Help the Family of Myeongsu Kang
Donation protected
Dr. Myeongsu Kang passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 28, at his home. He was only 38 years old.
Myeongsu is survived by his wife, Yeoungseon Kim, and two young sons, Matthew and Mark. He was a dedicated husband and father and enjoyed fishing, swimming, and biking with his sons.
The Kang family relocated to the United States three years ago when Myeongsu began working on his Postdoc with the Center for Advanced Life Cycle Engineering (CALCE) at the University of Maryland. Dr. Kang was a valuable, beloved member at CALCE, and he will be dearly missed by his colleagues and students.
We are collecting money to help ease his family's financial burden during this period. This collection, to be used at his family's discretion, will help with funeral and memorial costs and help get Myeongsu back to his final resting place in South Korea.
Every contribution is greatly appreciated.
