Help the family of Jayla Aubrey Cantrell

Hi, I’m Margaret Moore and I’m setting up this account to assist with medical expenses for the family of Javvor Cantrell and Jayla Aubrey Cantrell. Jayla just turned three in June, and was diagnosed with brain cancer on July 20. She has been at Children’s Hospital in Knoxville since then. She had a tumor removed immediately and began chemotherapy on August 9th. Chemotherapy will last at least until next month. The second round of chemotherapy will need to take place in Nashville, which will be an additional hardship for the Cantrell family.

The last time I talked to Javvor in person, just a few days before Jayla was diagnosed, we were talking about applying for grants to expand his business. He owns a small lawn care and landscaping business in Knoxville that he started with just himself and a lawnmower. He’s now working with young men in the rough neighborhood he grew up in to help them develop business skills and the ability to be self-reliant when they finish school. Javvor was excited to be giving back to his community, and I was excited to help him apply for grants for community-focused minority business owners.

But since July 20th, Javvor has been spending all his time at the hospital with Jayla, as he should be. Right now they’re the ones who need the community. The time to continue paying it forward will come again when Jayla is healthy. Please give anything you can to help this deserving family!
