On January 15, 2021 we got the call from Gerald's family that he was involved in a tragic accident in Murfreesboro, TN.  We are deeply sad to say that we lost a beloved man this morning.

Gerald was instrumental in helping my family for over 60 years at Keisling Ridge Road.  Everything we did to build a legacy on that ridge, Gerald put his love, time and energy into.  As you can see by this picture Gerald was proud to help a neighbor, lend a hand to someone in need and share his stories of living on the ridge.

Now it is time for us as a community to surround the love of his life, Susan, and to help his children survive this tragedy.  We are asking for anyone that comes by this page to remember how generous Gerald was with his time and to reach out to help his family.

At this time, we know that immediate needs include day to day expenses to be covered for Susan. In the near future there will be arrangements to be made and Susan could use some comfort in knowing that Gerald will be provided a memorial service.  If you can help, we know that your gift to the family will not go unrecognized.

In addition, we would love if you would share stories of your memories of Gerald.  One of our favorite memories of Gerald was how he loved our children.  There was not a day that went by where we did not share a call or a Facebook message with Gerald.  Gerald and his family also gifted us our beloved black Labrador he called Zoey.  We now call her Livvie (for Livingston where she was born) and every time we see her we will forever remember Gerald and his great deep laugh and outpouring of love for our family.
