Help Honor Our Grandma’s Life & Final Wishes

I’m reaching out to everyone whose heart my grandmother has touched or whose life she has made a difference in.

Recently, our beautiful grandma was diagnosed with three different types of cancer. Because of her age, she made the brave choice not to find out what stage it was or to pursue treatment. She wanted to spend her remaining time surrounded by the people she loved, without putting a time limit on her life. Our family fully supported her decision.

Sadly, her condition has progressed much faster than any of us expected. She is now on hospice, resting comfortably at home and surrounded by family and loved ones as she lives out her final days.

As a family, we are reaching out for help covering funeral expenses and other unexpected costs that have come up while providing her the best care possible before God calls her home. The financial stress of losing our grandmother and mother, on top of grieving, is something we are trying to ease ahead of time.

All of the funds that is raised will go only toward our grandmother’s care, funeral, and final wishes. I’m also happy to personally pick up any donations if needed.

No family wants to worry about finances while saying goodbye to someone they love so deeply. Any amount — or even just sharing this post — would mean the world to us. I’ve taken on the responsibility of organizing this to help my grandma and to support her children — machelle, Colette, Lynnette, Tanya, Ben, and Alisha — so they can focus on being with their mother during this precious time.

We’ve talked with Grandma about her wishes, and we are committed to honoring them with love and care.
