Coach Tony Carter

Our beloved coach, husband, father, son and brother, Tony Carter, passed away in the early morning on April 14th, 2020.   He is survived by his strong willed and loving family; wife Yolanda, children Sabriyah and Idris along with his mother, brothers and sisters.  Long time coach of Wantagh, Westbury and Roosevelt Football, Coach Carter has reached, educated and touched so many lives throughout his years on the field, none more than his own son, Idris.  Their time spent together on the field as father and son is immeasurable and celebrated throughout the course of his coaching career. 

It is with great sadness and unbearable pain that we open up this fundraising page in honor of Coach Carter and to help with the financial burden this beautiful family will face moving forward without their "gentle giant".  On behalf of myself, Coach OP Smith, Coach Keith Sachs and Coach Joe Vito, along with all of the other coaches in these programs, we appreciate all who have reached out, expressed condolences for the Carter family and continue to help celebrate this wonderful mans life.
