Help the families of Maui Kai who lost everything.

Aloha everyone,

We are raising money for the kind souls who cared for us and treated us like family during the current disaster here in Lahaina, HI.

We were vacationing at the Maui Kai resort when, without warning, disaster struck. While many other resorts understandably closed during the following days, forcing guests to evacuate, the Maui Kai staff decided to stay and care for us because we had no place else to go. 

Some of the staff lost everything in the fires and yet they still stayed to run the facility. Not only that but they won’t have any income for the foreseeable future until the west side of Maui returns to normal. 

Our prayers are with everyone affected and their families. God’s grace is sufficient and we hope this will help get them a start on a new chapter.

We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts and sincerely appreciate your help.

* All of the funds raised (minus 2.9% that GFM charges) will go directly to the housekeepers, facilities maintenance folks and the resort staff as cash. It’s a small knit group of caring people and they are our friends. No donations will go to anyone managing this GoFundMe fundraiser or Maui Paradise Properties, LLC.
