On Thursday, March 13th, longtime Smithfield residents John and Janice Fabiano, along with their son Jason and granddaughter Avery, lost their home in a devastating fire that resulted in a total loss. A lifetime of memories and belongings were destroyed, leaving them displaced and facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding from nothing.
John Fabiano dedicated many years to the Smithfield School Department at the former Anna McCabe and is a pillar of our community. His wife, Janice, works with special needs children at North Smithfield Elementary, giving her heart and soul to supporting students and families. Their son, Jason, is not only a devoted father but also a beloved baseball coach who has mentored many young athletes in town. He is also an electrician in Local 99 of 20 years. His daughter, Avery, is a bright and kind-hearted 3rd grader at Pleasant View Elementary.
The Fabianos have given so much to our community and now it’s our turn to give back to them. Please consider making a donation to help them recover from this unimaginable loss.
