Help the Ethridge family from afar!

Friends and family of Carrington and Ari Ethridge, many of you have been following Ari’s posts and updates on Carrington’s progress in dealing with this illness. For those that haven’t, I’ll give you the cliff notes.
Carrington caught a stomach bug out of nowhere almost 2 weeks ago. He was fine all day that Sunday, but that night he was pretty sick. He ended up going to the ER at about 4am Monday morning. When he got home he went straight to bed. When he woke up, he took his sweater off and noticed that his elbow was really swollen and hot to the touch. At about 7 that night, Ari convinced him to go back to the ER, and by 10 he was in the ICU.
He had contracted a super-aggressive infection in his arm that went rampant, and at one point they said he was septic. They were worried that the infection would do a number on his heart, and were concerned that they may need to amputate his arm to save his life. Luckily, they got him into surgery the next day, and were able to remove enough of the infection for a safe recovery.
It is unknown at this point when he will get discharged, but when he does, he has a long road to a full recovery. To be going through all of this, Carrington is staying remarkably positive, and seems to be in good spirits!
As someone who cares an awful lot about this family, I’m calling out to the many more that I know feel the way I do, and wish there was something they could do to help. This is a family of Air Force veterans with two beautiful boys, who have friends and family spread all over. Many of us have reached out and asked what we can do. Sometimes, help from afar is all we’ve got. They aren’t asking for anything, but if there’s anything we can do to help ease the burden on this family during this challenging time, they more than deserve it.
