Help the ESHS Robotics Team Fund Their FRC Season!
Donation protected
We are the El Segundo High School P.O.T.A.T.O.E.S. Robotics Team. We are the People Of Tomorrow Applying Their Outstanding Engineering Skills. Every January since 2006, our team has begun a 6-week build period during which we designed and constructed a fully functioning robot to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Using a combination of CAD, manual and automated machine tools, and custom electronics and software systems, our team builds effective and robust machines to complete a variety of tasks.
The first weekend of April, 2022, we will attend the Los Angeles Regional competition with the goal of making it to the tournament rounds.
Our team of 18 students is currently raising funds to complete our robot. This will be our chance to fulfill our dream and build the best robot we can and get as much as possible out of our season. At competition, we will not only compete with our robot, but we will also connect, learn, and collaborate with teams from around the world, bond within our team, learn about local STEM internships and job opportunities, and hear from colleges offering special scholarships for students involved in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology).

All donations will go toward parts, tools, and supplies needed to build the robot. We urgently need the money, as competition is quickly approaching and it will take time to both finish the robot and practice. We want to make this our best season yet and need your help to show we can thrive even in the midst of a global pandemic.
Thank you so much for reading our story!
