My name is Pamela Scanlan and my husband is Rusty Scanlan. A friend of ours, and former NOPD Police Officer, Luis Escobar, tragically lost his house to a fire on January 19th, just before the snow came. Luis and his wife Kelley lost all their possessions, heirlooms, etc., which was everything to them. Luis did not have homeowners insurance. While this money will hardly make a dent in the losses they encountered, I'm hoping to help them get back on their feet with some essentials and possibly the demolition of the burned structure.
