Help the Enkey Family Through Crisis

This is David and Jinny Enkey. They have been friends of ours for over a decade, and are in need of our help.

Recently, David and Jinny moved her mom into their house and had to do some remodel work to help provide the space she would feel most comfortable living in while maintaining some independence. They wanted so deeply to help her live comfortably, enjoy family and know that she is safe and well taken care of.

While working on their loft, David slipped and fell, shattering his heel and breaking his foot in 4 places. After the initial hospital visit, he was complaining of not being able to breathe, and passed out. We now know that the intial injury knocked loose a blood clot that made him fall unconscious for the next couple of days. He is recovering at OU in Oklahoma City, where they also discovered a hole in his heart. He's gone from a 4 week recovery for his foot, to an undetermined amount of time and effort, as he is now responding with hand signals, squeezing hands and able to open his eyes. This family has been a part of Guts Church for many many years. Two of their sons have been a part of the GUTS internship.

David and Jinny have 5 children. Jinny has been staying at the hospital to be close to David. Extended family are staying with kids at home to help keep the household running. As you would expect, expenses are adding up quickly and David is the sole income earner for the family. There will be medical costs to pay in addition to their monthly expenses.

David and Jinny are the example of generosity. They are and always have been generous to everyone around them and have instilled the same ethics and integrity into all of their children. We would love to show them the love and support they continually show others by helping with their monthly expenses and upcoming medical bills until David is back on his feet and able to work again.
