I am a mother of six children, and right now, we are facing one of the hardest times of our lives. My husband is unable to walk and is on welfare, and I am currently out of work. Our children are ages 9, 7, 6, 4 (girl), 4 (boy), and 3. We are struggling to afford even the basics, like shoes and clothes for our kids, and we have nothing right now. Every day is a challenge to make sure our children have what they need.

It’s not easy to ask for help, but I am doing everything I can for my family. My husband’s health makes it impossible for him to work, and I am searching for a job while caring for our children. The stress of not being able to provide for them is overwhelming, but I know there are kind people out there who care about families like ours.
