Hi everyone, the team at Dutch Freds here.
Times are hard for us all during this pandemic and global crisis. Our hearts are with each other as a staff, our patrons and everyone in NYC, especially our fellow service workers and every person affected across the world.
We at Dutch Freds LOVE what we do and the outbreak of COVID-19 has caused all of us to take extraordinary measures to protect our community. As you may have heard, Dutch Freds temporarily closed its doors to protect our patrons, staff and community. This has left our dedicated, amazing employees on furlough and in need of support.
We call on our Dutch Freds family to help support our team of dedicated floor, bar and kitchen staff. IF YOU CAN, we are asking you to contribute any amount you can to our fund. 100% of the money will go to help our hourly and tipped workers and the owners at Dutch Freds will match the money dollar for dollar. Every little bit will help and we are extremely grateful for any generosity.
Meeting our goal would put a minimum extra 1000$ in the pockets of each of our 42 dedicated employees, including kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, bussers, bar backs, porters and hostesses. This money could be of incredible benefit to us during these uncontrollable times.
We know we can count on our community and we look forward to opening our doors once again to welcome you all!
