Help the Emory Family with Groceries
This fundraiser is a small attempt to do something big to help first time expecting parents Elizabeth (Liz) and Tim Emory, of Glastonbury, Connecticut, with the purchase and routine delivery of groceries during an incredibly challenging time. Liz is a registered nurse who has selflessly showed up to brave the frontlines, this past year with Covid, who is now braving a cancer diagnosis at 25 weeks pregnant.
Liz was recently diagnosed with Burkitt's non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and has begun an invasive and aggressive chemotherapy regimen that she hopes will help bring her back to being the "thriving 28 year old mom, wife, nurse, friend dog momma" that she was just a few weeks ago. She is on a regimen that makes her white cell counts critically low which means she cannot leave the house and her husband can't risk going to a grocery store. This fundraiser is an effort to raise money for the Emory Family so they can buy groceries and arrange for routine delivery to help limit their exposure while also ensuring their basic needs are met so they can focus on what's most important: healing and beginning their family in good health.
Please share this with your community, family and friends. Let's give back to someone in need of healing who has given so much of herself to heal others.
