Help the Emmert's rebuild after Hurricane Ian
Donation protected
Andrew and Brenda lost their home and nearly every possession from the worst flooding in history due to Hurricane Ian. While many had time to evacuate belongings, the Peace River in Arcadia had already flooded before the Hurricane from an unusual amount of rainfall. Drew joked that their house would likely be OK if they did not get any more rain storms. As the Hurricane began to brew, Drew and Brenda could only access their home via kayak and carry minimal weight. They did not have the time or resources to get their belongings.
They are starting from zero, staying with Brenda's parents and trying to preserve a sense of security and normalcy for their young kiddos. They need our help. The emotional cost of losing everything is profound, but the financial costs are something we can help with. Rebuilding will come in time, and the immediate needs are basics like clothes.
Drew and Brenda have served communities over the years, and now we have the chance to help them in their hour of need.
