Help the Eggers Family While Dad Battles Cancer

Hi! My name is Anna Eggers and I’m trying to raise funds to help cover living expenses and any other expenses that pop up for my parents while my father battles cancer. As we get more information, I’ll be sure to update here.

To give context, my mother has numerous health issues finally won her case and was legally declared disabled since shortly after I started high school. My father has been the breadwinner for the family my entire life, and does gig work like Doordash and Instacart to pay the bills. He’s currently unable to work much, if at all, given the physical and unreliable nature of the gig work he does. As treatment begins, we suspect that he will continue to be unable to work—and worry that continuing to try to work will only worsen his condition, which we’ve already seen this past week as this journey began.

Any money raised here will be used to make sure my parents can pay for groceries or other essentials, utilities, gas to and from appointments, phone bills, etc. while my father is unable to work. For those of you who are very close to me, you may or may not already know my family’s circumstances. I tend to not be very forthcoming—I’m like my dad, I don’t like asking for help or making a big deal of things. However, with the battle that’s ahead of us, we’ll need all the support we can get—so thanks so much for reading and donating, if you’re able.
