On March 9, 2026, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. Jim (Jaime) Edwards, a father, and friend, passed away suddenly.
Jim was many things—but above all, he was a husband , best friend, father , coach and pop-pop to his beloved grandson Kimo. He loved to fish, ride his Harley and dirt bikes, snowboard , work with his hands, and help anyone who asked.
As we navigate this grief, his children are also facing the unexpected financial burden that comes with laying Jaime to rest. He did not have a will or a life insurance policy, and our family is now responsible for covering mortuary expenses and memorial service costs during an already overwhelming time.
We are asking for any support to help ease this immediate financial strain so the focus can be on honoring Jaime’s life and supporting his children and grandson as they process this loss.
Funds raised will go directly toward:
• Mortuary and cremation expenses
• Memorial service costs
• Associated end-of-life expenses
Any contribution—no matter the size—will make a meaningful difference for our family. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page is equally appreciated.
Mahalo for your kindness, your prayers, and your support during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
The Edwards ʻOhana
