Help the Durrant Family after fire took everything
Donation protected
My niece Kelsey’s family (including 2 young children) lost their home and everything in this fire early morning Thursday May 6th.
I must stress these 2 are heroes. After Kelsey awoke at 3:30am to see flames outside their neighbors home, she called 911, they got the kids to safety, and Chris ran inside the neighbors flame and smoke engulfed home to rescue the neighbors 2 young kids and their grandparents. He grabbed both kids from their rooms and yelled to the grandparents that there was a fire, carried the girls down the stairs and outside to safety with the grandparents following after him. Thank God that everyone is safe and no one was injured.
Now, after a few days, reality has set in for them. We now know they have lost basically everything and they are actively looking for a new home. I am asking if people can please help any way possible to go towards damage deposit, rent etc. and help put some ease on this family at such a difficult time. This is a very emotional time, as Kelsey said to me "you see this on the news, but never expect it to happen to you!" It breaks my heart what they are going through and how difficult it must be.
