Help the Durhams Grow Their Family

Hello, I’m Heather Durham and my husband, Jeremy Durham, and I have had a long 14-year road to start our family. We’ve attempted IUIs, fertility treatments, and suffered losses due to ectopic pregnancies—one of which I nearly lost my life and concurrently lost my tube as well.

We decided to start a family by fostering, which resulted in 7 years of hardships but one amazing child we were able to adopt at 7 years old. After so much loss, we want our son to have a forever sibling, as his natural siblings are split up in the system. We have thought about IVF for a long time; however, like most things in our life, we are going to take a different approach and use a donor embryo, hopefully giving a life to a child which may not have ever been otherwise. This gives us the best chance of conception at my age—nearly 40—and follows our religious beliefs for the process.

We are so overwhelmed with excitement towards this decision and just know that anything helps! Thank you so much for helping us finally reach our dreams of having our forever baby. ❤️
