We’re starting this GoFundMe for two of the most selfless people—Drew and Brittany Durham—who have dedicated so much of their time and hearts to helping others in their community.

For the past two years, Drew has been doing home hemodialysis five days a week, three hours each day. His wife, Brittany, has faithfully rearranged her life and work schedule to serve as his caregiver during every treatment.

Recently, the Durhams began working with Baylor in Dallas, Texas, to participate in a shared kidney donation program. This incredible couple just received life-changing news: Drew has been scheduled for a kidney transplant on December 5th, and Brittany will donate her kidney to another patient on December 9th—a true act of selflessness and love.

Following their surgeries, Drew and Brittany will be required to stay in the Dallas area for six weeks for recovery and follow-up appointments. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover their lodging expenses, and since Brittany is self-employed, she will be without income during this time.

Now it’s our turn to rally around the Durhams the way they’ve always rallied around our community. Every donation will go directly toward their lodging, meals, and essential expenses while they recover from this life-changing journey.
