Help the Dunne-Rowland Family Post Palisades Fires
Donation protected
Just one week ago, life changed forever for Jenn Dunne, her husband Justin Rowland, their son Tucker, and Jenn’s mother Sunny when the Palisades fire destroyed their home of nearly 30 years. In a heartbreaking twist, Jenn’s sister Kim also saw her home reduced to ashes in the same fire, leaving both families to face the overwhelming challenge of starting over.
This family has deep roots in the Westside community, spanning three generations of Loyola alums, but their story is so much more than that—it’s a story of giving, service, and love. Jenn, a 30-year veteran of the locations community, has spent her career placing filming projects and creating income opportunities for homeowners all over the county.
Justin, no stranger to the devastation of wildfire, once stayed behind during a major blaze to help direct firefighting efforts at a ski resort he managed. But this time, unfortunately, it’s their home that’s gone.
Jenn, Justin and Tucker live with Jenn’s mom, as she navigates the challenges of aging. Their home wasn’t just where they lived—it was where generations gathered, where their family cared for one another, and where they opened their doors to anyone in need. It was a true haven of warmth and generosity. It’s the kind of rare family who still writes handwritten thank-you notes and never lets an act of kindness go unnoticed.
In the ashes of this unimaginable loss, the family has found one small glimmer of hope: a single tree still standing in their backyard. It’s their symbol of resilience, much like the banyan tree in Lahaina. This remaining tree is inspiring them to rebuild—not just a house, but a home where they can continue to care for Jenn’s mom and create new memories together.
Now it’s our turn to show up for them. Jenn and Justin have spent decades giving so much to their community, never asking for anything in return. Let’s pay that generosity forward and help them start fresh.
Please consider a donation to help them begin rebuilding their lives. Your contributions will help them through this challenging time to support the unexpected costs of getting back on their feet. These funds will assist in covering the costs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid, and your help will allow them to address the many aspects of recovery and support through this crisis.
Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference. And if you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Thank you for your compassion and support. Together, we’ll restore LA, and can help them rebuild—not just their home, but the hope and strength they embody.
