Help the Dunn Family Through Crisis

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I am reaching out with a plea for help as the Dunn family navigates one of the most challenging times of their lives. On Wednesday, October 2, Nicole gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Abigail Marie Faith Dunn. Minutes after her arrival, it became clear that Abigail needed immediate medical attention due to a rare heart defect. She was airlifted from Lakeland to Orlando for specialized care, where at just hours old, she underwent open heart surgery.

Abigail made it through surgery, however her open heart surgery was still not complete. They were told within days, Abigail would have to go through surgery again on her heart. With Abigail being so little, she has gone through so much, she probably would not make it. They were told to say goodbye to their precious newborn. By the Grace of God, Abigail made it through her second surgery!

Unfortunately, this is just the beginning of her medical journey. With both Nicole and Mike now out of work to be by their daughter’s side, the financial strain is quickly adding up. Medical bills, travel expenses, and the loss of income are creating overwhelming stress during an already heartbreaking time. Thankfully, Nicole and Mike's family has been a tremendous help with their two other children, Emma (9) and Jackson (5). We are asking for your help to ensure that they can focus on Abigail without the weight of financial worry.

• Travel and lodging costs for Nicole and Mike to stay near their daughter in Orlando

• Daily living expenses while both parents are out of work.
