Hi Everyone this is Joon and Amanda Hwang and we are calling all of you to help the beloved Dunn family! If you know them you have been blessed by their encouragement and faithfulness they display, if you don’t know them I promise you this is a worthy cause that will bless this family greatly!

The Dunn family is from South Africa and is completing the final stage of training at Moody Aviation to serve as a missionary pilot family. I emphasize “family” because not only John, but also Tanya and their children, have been faithfully engaged in this arduous and demanding process for the past several years.

They are one of the few missionary families that Trinity Church of Spokane Valley partners with to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

We have created this page because they are in urgent need of a car. It is very difficult to get around Spokane without one, especially with winter fast approaching. Their current vehicle has broken down beyond repair.

Over the years, the Dunn family has faced many challenges, from immigration complexities to health struggles. Yet they have continued to look to Christ for strength, maintaining focus and discipline as they prepare for the mission field. We vouch for this family and for John’s character.

They are so close to completing their training and stepping into full-time mission work. It is heartbreaking to see a transportation issue becoming a stumbling block at the finish line.

Let’s get them a reliable car and help them finish well here. Any amount helps accomplish this task. Please pray for and share this endeavor!
