On Tuesday, February 25th, I am going to lose the home that I grew up in due to foreclosure. Not due to a lack of effort, just not enough time. My mother works two jobs, my sister is pushing herself through nursing school, while my other sister is creating a small business and my brother who is enlisted. And I am 98 days away from graduation, in other words, I am 98 days away from being able to support my family. I am 98 days from that extra paycheck we so badly needed. I wish I didn't have to reach out to those that have already helped, but we are out of time.
So, It starts with a simple message and hopefully it can reach new people that can answer my prayers and truly make a difference in my life, in my mother's life. It all starts with sharing our story.
Our story starts with a single-mother that raised 4 children after being a stay at home mom for almost 20 years. She pushed her self through a Masters Degree program by taking out loans. She pushed herself through part-time jobs to pay for our needs before her own. She pushed me towards receiving a full ride, and she pushed my sister to nursing school and my other sister to teaching and she pushed my brother as well, she continues to push each and every one of her children while managing to make us feel as if everything is going to work. But today, she called me in tears telling me she was a broken woman, and I can't blame her after almost 13 years of juggling not only her crippling debt (mortgages, student loans, etc.) but the needs of her 4 children. There is truly no other woman in your life like your mother and I fell short of being able to help her.
Yes. I am asking for help to the Dulac Family, but in reality, I just want to help my mom, and right now I can't. Please share this, even if we don't reach our goal, maybe it'll make a difference in her life.
