Help The Dorn’s with Unexpected Medical Costs

This is a fundraiser to help The Dorn’s with their unexpected 17,000 dollars in medical costs while traveling home with their newly adopted son. Taylor was experiencing abdominal pain which was the result of cholecystitis (gall bladder stones and inflammation). He was admitted to the hospital early that same morning. He has remained in pain but it's been some what controlled with pain meds, antibiotics, and antacids.

The surgeon evaluated him in the morning and recommended surgery the next day. The medical team went back and forth about it and ultimately decided to do surgery, due to the pain still being quite significant even when the IV meds wear off. His biggest fear right now is still having the pain or having a repeat attack on a flight home as we have two 10 hour flights and then a short flight from NY and surgery is the only way to make sure his pain stops.

 

The surgeon said Taylor be in the hospital at least 4 days and needs to wait at least 10 days to fly. This is way longer than the US protocol so we are hoping for shorter stay so that we can get home at least a week before starting back to work.

 

-Please pray for the surgery to go smoothly and for Taylor's recovery.

-Please pray for Bule to have peace and comfort as he can't go to the surgical ward and therefore can't see daddy until he's discharged.

-Please pray for Tiffani to have the energy and perseverance to take care of everyone and everything.

-Please pray we get home ASAP and also find a way to pay off the $17,000+ we just unexpectedly put on our credit card for all of this.
