Support for the Doolittle Family

This past September, Luke got a call from our friend Cory, who was experiencing severe abdominal pain and needed a ride to the ER. Once there, doctors discovered a softball sized, cancerous mass that was later as a gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST).

Thankfully, at this point the cancer is highly treatable. But it's still cancer. And treatment going to be a long road. Cory started chemo this week and he will continue for about 2 to 3 months with the goal of shrinking the tumor. If the tumor responds favorably, surgery will be the next step.

First and foremost in this process, Cory and his family covet your prayers. While this is the last thing they expected, they know God is still in control and that He is good, even when life isn't.

Currently, insurance covering the bulk of the treatment cost, but it obviously doesn't cover everything. There are still a lot of out of pocket expenses like transportation to Fargo for treatment and offsetting lost work time.

Funds raised through this fundraiser will go directly to Cory and his family so he can focus on healing, instead of stressing about money. Any amount you can give is appreciated beyond words. Thank you!
