Help the Donato Family Rebuild Again

Most of you reading this know exactly who I am. I'm Lauren Donato.

I was actually told not to do this by my very prideful parents. People have been asking how they can help, or ease the burden. So here goes nothing;

In 2022 our family lost everything during Hurricane Ian in Fort Myers, Florida. The only thing we had were the clothes on our back. We had to rebuild from the ground up literally. We spent weeks and months rebuilding our home.

As Hurricane Milton approached Fort Myers, Florida we were faced with the same devastation. Only this time we were able to prepare. Unfortunately no matter how much we prepared we faced the same exact devastation as last time. We spent thousands on items to prep for this hurricane... even with everything we did we were only able to save the furniture and most of our belongings. My parents may be extremely prideful and I guess that is were I get it from... but they need help. Insurance doesn't and won't cover our cottage. This alone will cost thousands.. more then we can even ask for. The parts of the main house that are covered will also cost thousands to be replaced. I'm praying I can help lift this burden with the help of those that have asked me to make this. We plan to use anything donated to help rebuild again for the second time. We understand times are extremely hard for everyone and we know many people won't be able to help. No matter what we love and appreciate all of you.
