My name is Rachel and my family lives next door to the Dixon family who experienced a total loss house fire yesterday. They just completed building this house this year and they have put their blood, sweat and tears into making this their forever home. Kevin was able to escape the fire with help from a neighbor, but is currently hospitalized with smoke inhalation and severe burns. As this sweet family begins to pick up the pieces, I hope you can consider helping in any way you can. Things are just things, and they can be replaced, but that doesn't make this any easier. They certainly have a long road ahead.

And in case you're thinking your $10 donation might not make a difference, that could buy them soap and shampoo. Any small amount makes a difference. All donations will be sent directly to the family to be used for medical bills, food, temporary housing, monthly bills, and any other needs they have at this time.

We are so thankful to our local firefighters and all first responders for saving lives yesterday and containing this fire in 90 degree temperatures. You are true heroes.
